#1481
|
By Dr. Steve L. Sun. This video teaches a novice form of double wind fire wheels, which are flattened metal rings, approximately 12 inches in diameter, plated in chrome with three flame-shaped spikes. They weight about two pounds each. They were traditionally used by the military and martial artists in China. The forms in Dr. Sun’s system follow the Yang style methods. The video opens with a demonstration of the wind fire wheels novice form followed by 10 basic warm-up exercises for 24 minutes followed by basic techniques repeated individually, left and right in a standing posture. There is then a demonstration of a short novice form followed by performances of two demonstration forms. The form is also taught in Dr. Sun’s book, “Tai Chi Chuan Wind & Fire Wheels,” listed elsewhere. 62 Min. See 1482 and 1483. |
